Feyenoord winger Eljero Elia has denied rumours that he has an agreement to join Turkish side Istanbul Basaksehir.

The 30-year-old announced on the final day of the season that he was hoping to leave Rotterdam for one last move abroad, and rumours in the Dutch press stated he was close to joining Istanbul Basaksehir.
However, speaking to RTV Rijnmond, Elia said, “That is not true. I’m still here? There are so many clubs that have been reported. You see it naturally, I want to have fun. Wherever I’m going. Many people write things, but these are rumours.”
