Emmen are still searching for their first win of the campaign after they could only manage a 1-1 draw against ADO Den Haag.

Emmen are the only team in the Eredivisie without a win now and they went into the game against fellow-strugglers ADO Den Haag looking for a much-needed three points.

However, ADO Den Haag took the lead in the sixth minute as Vicente Besuijen got space at the far post to fire in a Lassana Faye pass.

The game then had to be paused after fans set off fireworks outside the stadium that created a smoke cloud that made visibility difficult.

Eventually, the smoke cleared and the game got back underway as Emmen went on search for an equaliser. Michael de Leeuw hit the bar early in the second half, while Glenn Bijl also missed two good chances.

Fifteen minutes before the end, Emmen finally got the deserved equaliser with Miguel Araujo heading in a Bijl cross. The hosts then tried to find the winner, but even with six minutes of added time, ADO Den Haag held on for a point.

Emmen remains bottom of the table, while ADO Den Haag are one spot above them.
