First up for Oranje is a tie in Amsterdam with England on the 23th of March. Gareth Southgate has named four new faces in his squad, Nick Pope, and James Tarkowski (both Burnley), Alfie Mawson (Swansea City) and midfielder Lewis Cook (Bournemouth).

Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere also returns to the squad after regaining form for Arsenal, but there is no Harry Kane, who misses out through injury.

Netherlands then travel to Portugal three days later for another friendly match against the Euro 2016 champions. Coach Fernando Santos has brought Cristiano Ronaldo back into Portugal’s squad, but Nani misses out.

Ronald Koeman will name his definite Netherlands squad on Friday.
