According to the Bristol Post, Swansea City, Stoke City, Bristol City, Nottingham Forest and Leeds are all in contention to bring the player who bagged 17 goals in the Eredivisie last season to England.

Mahi, 23, who previously had a spell at Sparta Rotterdam, is in his fourth season with Groningen, but has only excelled since nailing down a position in the starting eleven in the 16/17 season. Prior to last season, the attacker had only managed 6 Eredivisie goals, with an even worse record to show for his two years in the Eerste Divisie.

While Stoke lead the pack of clubs hoping Mahi can continue his impressive goal scoring form in England, a reported €2 million price tag could see any number of teams attempt to swoop in and secure a deal with the Dutch strugglers.
