Two goals from Sebastian Haller handed Utrecht a 2-0 win over Go Ahead Eagles which all but condemns the Deventer club to the relegation play-offs.

Go Ahead Eagles shocked Feyenoord 1-0 in Rotterdam last week to give themselves hope of escaping the bottom three, but their hopes all but faded against Utrecht.
The away side were ahead after nineteen minutes when Sebastian Haller raced onto a fine Yassin Ayoub through ball before beating Mickey van der Hart.
Go Ahead Eagles were wasteful in front of goal with Glynor Plet especially guilty of spurning some good chances, and just after the hour mark Utrecht killed the game. A fantastic pass from 18-year-old Bart Ramselaar found Haller, and the Frenchman again beat Van der Hart with a cool finish.
It could have been worse for the home side had Rubio Rubin or Haller not wasted good chances near the end as Utrecht comfortably saw out their win. With two games left, Go Ahead Eagles are now five points from safety, while Utrecht climb to 11th.
