Cambuur returned to winning ways on Saturday night as they saw off Go Ahead Eagles 2-1 in Deventer.

rusnak cambuutCambuur were poor in a 1-0 defeat to NAC Breda in Leeuwarden last week, but they were massively improved on Saturday night, and they took the lead on 27 minutes when Martijn Barto headed in from close range.

With 20 minutes to go midfielder Albert Rusnak (on loan from Manchester City) settled the game with a stunning long range effort which curved viciously and left Mickey van der Hart with no chance.

Cambuur forward Bartholomew Ogbeche had a goal disallowed for offside before the home side pulled a goal back in the fourth minute of injury time with Deniz Turuc firing in an excellent free kick.

The win lifts Cambuur to seventh, while Go Ahead Eagles linger just above the drop zone in 15th.
