A 91st minute goal from Adnane Tighadouini handed NAC Breda a crucial 1-0 win over fellow relegation candidates Go Ahead Eagles.

nacdjdjdThe relegation battle between the 17th and 15th placed teams in the Eredivisie began as a cagey and unattractive affair, with Go Ahead Eagles unable to create chances despite an attacking line-up, while NAC failed to take their chances with Erik Falkenburg sending a free header off target.

In the second half NAC Breda increased the pressure with Mickey van der Hart keeping out efforts from Demy de Zeeuw and Adnane Tighadouini, while at the other end Alex Schalk was handed two good chances, but could not beat Jelle ten Rouwelaar.

The game was heading for a draw, but in the 91st minute Tighadouini cut in from the left before sending a low drive past the despairing dive of Van der Hart. Its a crucial three points for NAC which moves them level on points with 16th placed Heracles, and one behind Go Ahead Eagles, making the relegation battle tighter than ever.
