A Tomas Necid goal was enough to send PEC Zwolle temporarily up to third with a 1-0 win over Willem II in Tilburg on Saturday.

Early in the second half PEC Zwolle coach Ron Jans decided to throw on youngster Max de Boom, and the 18-year-old played a key part in the winning goal on 74 minutes. The winger sent a looping cross into the six yard box for Tomas Necid to head in his eighth goal of the season.

Willem II pushed for an equaliser, but they barely troubled Hahn, and PEC Zwolle held on for their 15oth win with Ron Jans as coach. The win lifts PEC Zwolle above Feyenoord into third, while Willem II sit 10th.
