As we’re half way through the season, we can pause to reflect on what has been another entertaining Eredivisie season up to now. So far, Michael Statham has given his predictions for each match-week, and now we can see who would be top of the tree come Christmas and who would be struggling down the bottom…

According to the table, PSV and Ajax would lead the way with a small gap down to real-life table toppers Feyenoord.
PEC Zwolle would be having a far better season than they are currently having, sitting three points off third place, whilst the usual suspects fill the top seven.
Surprisingly, I’ve seldom predicted form teams Twente and Heerenveen to win this season, perhaps this is because they have achieved above expectations and I may be expecting a good run to end each week.
The teams down the bottom hold up to the real table, Roda and Go Ahead are the league’s struggling teams.
