Heerenveen vs RKC Waalwijk
Both of these teams have become regulars on the Friday night games and this week they play each other. Heerenveen are in poor form at the moment and lie down in 10th place while RKC find themselves second from bottom after last week’s win against NAC. This is a game I don’t see the home side losing despite their poor form.
Match result: Heerenveen -1 – 7/5
Roda JC vs Go Ahead Eagles
This is a game where we could see plenty of goals being scored. Roda have been in superb form and see themselves rising up the table in 9th but Go Ahead continue to struggle down in 14th. I expect a Roda win in this one with goals a certainty.
Match goals: Over 3.5 – 23/20
Heracles vs Groningen
Groningen missed the opportunity to get up to 3rd place last week after their 3-3 draw with Roda and instead are in 8th. Heracles’ match was abandoned last week and they are in13th. This is a tricky match to predict so I will go for a draw.
Match result: Draw – 12/5
Vitesse vs Utrecht
Vitesse are definitely the team to beat at the moment in the Eredivisie and are up with the leaders in 2nd place after a run of good results. Utrech have been fairly disappointing so far this season but have moved up to 12th after a win against Heerenveen last week. With that being said, I can’t see Vitesse dropping points in this one.
Match result: Vitesse -1 – 23/20
Den Haag vs Cambuur
A real bottom of the table scrap in this one as 15th placed Cambuur travel to face 16th place Den Haag. Both sides suffered defeats last week with Den Haag losing to AZ while Cambuur lost to Feyenoord. It’s a tough match to call but its a game I can’t see having many goals in it.
Match goals: Under 2.5 – 23/20
PEC Zwolle vs FC Twente
Sunday’s matches kicks off with Twente travelling to face Zwolle. Twente could be 4 points clear at the top but they have lost their last 2 games and are in 3rd. Zwolle are still in the mix in 7th but are slipping down the table. This should be a cracking match but I can’t separate these two sides.
Match result: Draw – 12/5
NEC vs Ajax
Ajax are really struggling but may have got back on track with a win during the week against Celtic. NEC are still at the bottom of the table but have been improving in recent weeks. It’s a really difficult game to predict and I’m going to take a risk and go for a NEC win.
Match result: NEC – 9/2
NAC vs PSV
Like Ajax, PSV are struggling at the moment but also picked up a win in Europe during the week. NAC are in good form and find themselves in 11th. This will be a tricky match for the visitors and I can see the home side getting a result.
Match result: NAC or draw – 11/4
Feyenoord vs AZ Alkmaar
The game of the weekend sees two of the league’s in form teams come head to head. Feyenoord are in 4th while AZ lead the league. The home side bounced back after their shock defeat to Heracles with a win at Cambuur last week while AZ have won their last 3 games. This should ba a superb match and I’m expecting plenty of goals.
Match goals: Over 3.5 – 7/4
