pelle feyFeyenoord vs Vitesse

The tie of the weekend looks like it will take place on Friday night. Vitesse have had a wobbly start to the second half of the season and they slipped to a draw with NEC last week. Feyenoord also dropped points last week as they suffered defeat at Den Haag last week. This should be a cracking match and I cant separate the teams.

Match result: Draw – 5/2

Heerenveen vs ADO Den Haag

Saturday’s action kicks off with what looks like could be another entertaining match. Heerenveen are going strong in 6th but suffered a setback last week with a defeat to Cambuur. Den Haag picked up a vital win last week to move them up to 16th. I think this should be a thrilling match with plenty of goals.

Match goals: Over 3.5 – 10/11

Heracles vs NAC

Heracles are in really good form at the moment and have climbed up to 10th in the table. NAC have slipped down to 14th and have been dragged in to the relegation battle. This is an important game for the visitors and I think they might get something from the match.

Match result: NAC or draw – Evens

PEC Zwolle vs Roda JC

Zwollw have had a rollercoaster start to 2014 and will be looking to build on last week’s win against NAC. Roda have been poor recently and are very much in the relegation scrap, sitting in 15th. This should be a decent game but I can’t look past a home win for Zwolle.

Match result: Zwolle – 8/11

AZ Alkmaar vs FC Groningen

Saturday’s action concludes with yet another potentially brilliant game. Both of these teams have been unpredictable recently and this is a tough match to call. AZ are in 8th at the moment, just one point and one place behind Groningen. I think AZ may just sneak this one at home.

Match result: AZ – 7/10

FC Utrecht vs Ajax

Sunday’s games begin with an intriguing matchup. Utrecht have had an awful start to 2014 but they’re typically a tough team to beat at home despite heavy losses in their last two home games. Ajax are playing very well at the moment and deservedly top the table. Utrecht will make it tough but I think Ajax should win this.

Match result: Ajax -9/20

NEC vs Go Ahead Eagles

NEC have once again found themselves at the bottom of the table despite last week’s draw with Vitesse. They are starting to play better and I think they have what’s needed to win this game. Go Ahead have lost their last two and are slipping down the table and I can’t see them picking up a win in this game.

Match result: NEC – 8/11

FC Twente vs Cambuur

Twente have started the second half of the season well and are just about keeping in touching distance of Ajax in third. Cambuur picked up a huge win last week and will be looking to build on that. However, I think the home side will be to strong for them and I can’t look past a comfortable Twente win.

Match result: Twente (-1) – 3/4

RKC Waalwijk vs PSV

PSV have had a decent start to 2014 and will be looking for another win this week. Waalwijk lost last week and have slipped down to 17th so this is a massive game. I think PSV have been playing well recently and should be able to see off RKC.

Match result: PSV – 9/20
