pelle eAjax vs PEC Zwolle

This is the first fixture to take place this weekend and it probably looks like it will be the best one to watch. PEC Zwolle have ad a fantastic start to the season and sit top of the league while Ajax lie in 4th. It could be argued that Zwolle haven’t had a game against a top Eredivisie side yet so this will be a real test for them. Ajax are looking to get back on track after 2 successive draws. This game looks like it will be a brilliant battle and it’s a tough one to call.

Full Time result: Draw – 4/1

Den Haag vs Vitesse Arnhem

The home side go in to this match in dreadful form and find themselves third from bottom with just one win from their opening five games and have conceded 11 goals. Vitesse have started the season reasonably well and occupy 8th position in the table with just the one loss from their opening five games. Den Haag have the home advantage but Vitesse, with their new influx of loan players should be confident of getting a win.

Full Time result: Vitesse – Evens

Cambuur vs Heracles

These sides have started the season in pretty similar fashion and only 2 points separate them in the table. Both teams have had some good results lately with each side holding PSV to a draw in successive weeks. Its another tough match to predict but I think Cambuur will be difficult to beat at home and I can’t see many goals being scored.

Match goals: Under 2.5 – 5/4

FC Twente vs PSV

This is another fantastic match to look forward to this weekend and once again, it’s difficult to predict the outcome of this match. FC Twente are in pretty good form and sit 3rd in the table behind PSV who have drawn their last 2 matches. One thing I’m certain of is these two teams have plenty goals in them and I think this game will be full of them.

Match goals: Over 2.5 – 8/15

NEC vs Feyenoord

Feyenoord have been in good form lately, winning their last 2 matches to get their season on track. Meanwhile NEC still sit bottom of the table, looking for their first win of the season but have been performing better the last few weeks where they have picked up draws against NAC and Waalwijk. I think it’ll be a close game but the visitors will have more of a cutting edge.

Full Time result: Feyenoord -1.0 – 13/8

AZ Alkmaar vs Go Ahead Eagles

Go Ahead have impressed in the Eredivisie this season after being promoted and they sit in 7th in the table. AZ have started the season similarly and they lie in 11th place but just a point separates the two sides. AZ have struggled to find any form this season, while Go Ahead are surprising a few people and I think this match has a draw written all over it.

Full Time result: Draw – 15/4

Heerenveen vs Gronigen

This is another match this weekend where the teams are in similar positions in the league. Heerenveen and Gronigen are on the same points in 5th and 6th but its Heerenveen who are ahead. I think this will be a brilliant game with both teams scoring for fun this season but I think the home side will just edge it.

Match goals: Over 2.5 – 1/2

Roda JC vs NAC

This for me, is probably the easiest match to predict this weekend. Roda sit in 12th place and 5 points ahead of NAC who are down in 17th. Roda were on the end of a 4-0 loss last round but won by the same scoreline the week before. NAC have yet to win a game this season and are only above bottom side NEC on goal difference. Roda should have enough to see off NAC but the visitors will be fired up to get their first league win.

Full Time result: Roda JC -1.0 – 7/4

FC Utrecht vs RKC Waalwijk

This is another match which is ridiculously tough to call. Both sides are down the bottom end of the table on 5 points and with just 1 win to their names this season. This will be a close match and a draw is the most likely outcome and I can’t see many goals being scored.

Full Time result : Draw – 13/5
