FC Utrecht manager Erik Ten Hag spoke in his press conference ahead of Thursday’s Europa League playoff match against Zenit Saint Petersburg.

Ten Hag stated that he feels the Russian opponents provide a massive challenge for FC Utrecht.
He said, ”You always hope that for a European match that you can name your strongest team as that enhances your possibilities.
”I watched Zenit St Petersburg 5-1 win in the Russian league against Spartak Moscow it was very impressive. Zenit Saint Petersburg are a big club with many good players. The club has many facets that belong to top European football. But we definately have a chance tomorrow.
”A 0-0 draw tomorrow as in the home match against Lech Poznan would provide us with perspective going into the second leg in Russia.”
