Faber lauded his team’s efficiency on the counter attack which saw them go 1-0 up after only 40 seconds through Simon Tibbling.
He said, ”We were lucky tonight in the respect of being given a goal that was offside the opposite has happened to us in the past and tonight the luck was on our side. We were deadly on the counter attack tonight and we made a fantastic start to the match. We went in 2-0 up at half time which is a difficult situation for the home team to cope with.
”Everything went well tonight not only the refereeing but also we defended well when PEC Zwolle attacked. It is true that we suffered a very average start to the season where we did not pick up too many points but we managed to turn it around and in the case of tonight we dominated the game.
”Winning this game also gives us confidence and we can start to look up the league table. We have to remain modest and not be to cocky when achieving such a convincing win. I am really happy in the way in which we won tonight ”.
