Faber stated how proud he was of his players to achieve a positive result coming from 2-0 and 3-2 down.
He said, ”I believe that we had a reasonable start to the match today but after we went 1-0 down we found things difficult and the first half was all SC Heerenveen.
”Thanks to our fans who gave us energy we managed to turn things around the second half. Next time when we play these types of games we must start a lot more sharper.
”We expected a lot in this match. Today is a good lesson for us and in the future we must find solutions on how to win these types of games.
”We kept believing that we could find a way back in the game and I believe a draw was a fair result. The first half was all SC Heerenveen and the second half was all us.
”Today was a game that had everything and I am proud of how my players fought back to achieve a positive result.”
