Feyenoord led Mitdjylland 2-0 in Denmark at the break but the hosts fought back in the second half to earn a 2-2 draw.

After Lazio could only draw earlier on Thursday, both sides knew a victory would put them in a great position in the group.

The hosts started brightly but it was Feyenoord that took the lead with Sebastian Szymanski finishing off with a low strike. Danilo was initially flagged offside but the goal stood after VAR intervened.

Just before the break, VAR intervened again and this time Feyenoord were awarded a penalty thanks to a handball. Orkun Kokcu netted the resulting penalty to make it 2-0.

Nine minutes into the second half, Gustav Isaksen pulled one back for the hosts with a volley. From that point, Midtjylland poured forward and Pione Sisto hit the bar with a free-kick.

It seemed Feyenoord would hold on, but in the 85th minute, Juninho tapped in a pass from Evander and the clash ended 2-2.

Feyenoord are top of the group on goal difference but all four sides are on four points.
