Tadic has been one of the standout performers for Twente this season as his seven league goals have lifted the club up to 3rd in the league. In recent weeks, clubs from Russia, Germany, Ukraine, and now Everton have all been linked with a move for the attacker, but they may all be wasting their time.

Only last week, Tadic told TC Tubantia of his intention to see out the rest of the season with Twente, unless a dream club comes in for him.

The 25-year-old said, “I want to finish the season at Twente, because I’m not in favour of changing teams the middle of the season.”

“In the winter team’s often panic buy. I would only move if a dream club came in for me. But I’m not ready to leave Twente.”

Twente paid €6.8 million to Groningen in 2012 for the Serbian International, and would expect a bid of around €12 million if they were to sell their key man.
