According to Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte, Everton are one of the clubs interested in signing Ajax forward David Neres this summer.

Neres was linked heavily with a move to China in January but Guangzhou Evergrande had a €45 million bid turned down. Since then the forward has showed some great form for Ajax and has made his debut with the Brazilian national team.

Neres is not expected to remain in Amsterdam past the summer with a number of top clubs now circling the winger. PSG, Borussia Dortmund and AC Milan have been credited with an interest but now the Brazilian media has also put Everton into the mix.

According to UOL Esporte, Everton technical director Marcel Brands is said to be a big fan of the 22-year-old and has already spoke with his agents Giuliano Bertolucci and Kia Joorabchian.

Ajax expect to receive a bid of more than €45 million this summer.
