Excelsior are close to the loan signing of Chelsea midfielder Danilo Pantic, who spent last season with Vitesse Arnhem.

The Rotterdam club have been in negotiations with Chelsea and technical director Ferry de Haan has confirmed to AD that a deal is close which will bring the Serbian to Excelsior for the rest of the season.
Pantic was signed by Chelsea last summer but he was immediately sent on loan to Vitesse Arnhem, where he only made six appearances from the bench, while appearing 11 times for the club’s U21 side, scoring three goals.
The 19-year-old attacking midfielder will be hoping to make a bigger impression in the Eredivisie for Excelsior.
