The 23-year-old joined FC Twente on loan in the summer, but has been rooted to the bench for most of the campaign.
Lamprou was unhappy with his lack of game time and has been allowed to return to Greece.
On the club’s website, technical director Jan Streuer said, “Lazaros has indicated to us that he was not happy with the situation, he wanted to play more. Unfortunately, we could not give him that guarantee. That is why this is a good solution for both parties.”
Lamprou made seven Eredivisie appearances for the Tukkers.
