corona jjfjPorto have paid around €12 million for the 23-year-old, but FC Twente will only see around €3-4 million due to a large part of Corona’s transfer rights being owned by private investors.

Corona signed for FC Twente in 2013 from Mexican side Monterray, and went on to make 46 Eredivisie appearances for the Tukkers, scoring 12 goals.

The loss of Corona ends a dreadful transfer window for FC Twente, with the manager-less club losing the likes of Luc Castaignos, Bilal Ould-Chikh, Youness Mokhtar, Kasper Kusk this summer due to poor finances. The club will not sign a replacement for Corona, despite being linked with Wolves winger Rajiv van la Parra.
