Utrecht recorded their third victory of the season as a Jens Toornstra double helped them beat NAC Breda 4-2 on Saturday night.

toornstra 3The home side took the lead after 16 minutes, when Yassine Ayoub finished into the corner, after seeing his first shot pushed out by Jelle ten Rouwelaar.

Ten minutes before half time the away side were level, with Ruiter parrying a De Roover shot into the path of Danny Verbeek, who finished into the net first time.

After the hour mark Utrecht had the lead again with Cedric van der Gun setting up Jens Toornstra in the box, and the midfielder made no mistake by firing into the roof of the net.

With ten minutes to go Jacob Mulenga made it 3-1 to the home side finishing from close range after NAC Breda failed to clear their lines.

A minute later it was 4-1, with Jens Toornstra grabbing his second of the game, as he played a nice one two before finishing into the bottom corner.

Anouar Hadouir pulled one back for the visitors with five minutes to go, but the win was already sealed by Utrecht, and they saw out the last moments.

The win moves Utrecht up to 12th, while NAC Breda stay in 11th spot.
