Janssen moved to Turkey on a season-long loan deal in the summer but has only made eleven league appearances for the club, scoring twice.

In December, Janssen suffered an injury in a game against Bursaspor, which has kept him sidelined since and his rehabilitation seems to be taking longer than expected. According to Fanatik, Fenerbahce have now decided that they will not try to sign the Dutchman permanently and he will return to Tottenham in the summer.

Janssen only joined Tottenham in the summer of 2016 for more than €20 million but the striker appears to have no future in London.
