Fenerbahce chairman Ali Koc has revealed that three coaches have been sacked after they were found to be plotting to get Phillip Cocu sacked.

Last week it came out that Turgay Altay, Murat Ozturk and Alper Asci, who were part of the staff of Cocu, were immediately dismissed. The reason’s were not revealed until Wednesday when Ali Koc took to the official Fenerbahce channel to reveal a bizarre plot which saw the three trainers working against Cocu to get him sacked.

Koc said, “The three dismissed trainers have leaked all information about players, matches and training sessions to a third party, including video images. All information and statistics from last season have been secretly deleted.

“After Erwin Koeman joined the staff, he was given certain tasks previously held by Turgay Altay. After that, the trainers who were part of the technical staff from last year decided not to help Cocu anymore.

“Several players complained of fatigue. They did not feel fit during the matches. This was because the fitness trainers did not transfer the information about fatigue complaints to the trainer. There was so heavy training by the three dismissed trainers that severe injuries could have occurred. Players complained about those trainings, but that was not passed on to Cocu either.”

The most shocking plot came before the clash with fierce rivals Besiktas, “On the day of the derby there was a rolled-up carpet in the locker room. The trainers said to the players: “Besiktas is going to win today, then we roll up the trainer and send him back to the Netherlands. This happened once again against Spartak Trnava. When that story came to me, I immediately fired them. ”

Koc also ensured that Cocu will remain Fenerbahce coach, “We have gone a certain way and we continue to follow that road. Phillip Cocu remains one hundred percent sure our trainer. We are leaving all the trouble behind now. “
