The midfielder has been heavily linked recently with a loan return to De Kuip this January, as a possible replacement for Tonny Vilhena, who Feyenoord expect to sell.
However speaking to Algameen Dagblad, Fer has stated that although he is aware of the interest from Feyenoord, staying at QPR is his preferred option.
Fer said, “Feyenoord is a big club in the Netherlands,”
“My agent told me about the interest, but I have indicated that I play here. What may happen is for later.”
On new coach Jimmy Floyd-Hasselbaink, he added, “I’ve now worked with him for a week. It’s very nice. Since he has come I just think: I want to stay here. But you never know. In football things can suddenly go very quickly.”
Its called negotiations. Nothing more….. Come home Leroy!
