heracles asPelle missed two great opportunities in the first ten minutes to put the hosts ahead, first firing wide, before seeing an effort saved by Remko Pasveer.

Lex Immers saw an effort cleared off the line, as Feyenoord continued to create chances, but could not finish in front of goal.

Heracles took a shock lead on 41 minutes, when Jens Jurn Streutker looked to have bundled in a corner at the near post. However the replays show that Miquel Nelom actually got the final touch, and it goes down as an own goal.

However the lead did not last long, as straight down the other end, Jean Paul Boetius played a one-two inside the box before lashing a shot into the top corner.

Just before the half time whistle, Miquel Nelom hammered a 25 yard drive against the post, as Feyenoord came close to taking the lead.

After 63 minutes, Heracles shocked the home side once again by taking the lead, when Mikhail Rosheuvel fired into the bottom corner from inside the box.

Feyenoord went looking for an equaliser, but Clasie shot straight at Pasveer, and then Pelle headed into the side netting from close range.

The home side were reduced to ten men in the final minute, when Graziano Pelle was shown a straight red card for a stupid headbutt movement towards a Heracles defender.

Its the first time in Heracles’s history that they have beaten Feyenoord in De Kuip, and the hosts miss the chance to go top of the league.
