clasie adfKoeman himself will leave Rotterdam in the summer, and he believes Clasie, Martins Indi, and De Vrij should all move too in order to become better players.

He told NOS, “It is clear that players are ready for a step-up after a few seasons at Feyenoord. You’ll end up better off, but then you have to make the right choice.”

Koeman’s words will no doubt anger fans of the club, but they are hardly startling with all three players having been linked with moves away several times.

Clasie has been heavily linked with Fiorentina, De Vrij to Liverpool, while Bruno Martins Indi nearly joined Everton last summer, and can also count on interest from AC Milan.

Whether the three players want to leave Feyenoord is another question, and with the club set to qualify for the Champions League, all three could stay.

If they do leave then the club could turn to their academy with Terence Kongolo impressing recently, while there is also big hopes for midfielders Rick Karsdrop, and Joey Sleegers.
