Bakkal spent the 11/12 season on loan at Feyenoord from PSV Eindhoven, and now returns to De Kuip on a short term deal, after a failed spell in Russia.
The deal was thrown in doubt over the players wage demands, but Bakkal lowered these making the move possible to the cash strapped Rotterdam club.
The midfielder who has one cap for Netherlands, made 29 appearances for Feyenoord two years ago, scoring an impressive nine goals, but only appeared four times in Russia with Dinamo Moscow all last season
Bakkal told the official Feyenoord site, “Its a privilege to be back at the club where two years ago i had such a great season. Feyenoord have a good team so i am confident we can have a fantastic season.”
Director Martin van Geel added, “Otman had a great year in Rotterdam with Feyenoord in the 2011/12 season, and he wants to pick up from where he left off.”
If Bakkal can prove his fitness he could make his debut this weekend this Sunday as Feyenoord host Utrecht at De Kuip.
