Kenneth Vermeer has officially departed Feyenoord to join MLS side Los Angeles FC.

The 34-year-old has been with Feyenoord for five and a half years since joining from Ajax, but has now departed for Los Angeles FC.
On the official Feyenoord website, technical director Sjaak Troost said, “Kenneth has never made it a secret that he would like to take another step like this at this stage of his career.
“Now that Justin Bijlow is fit again and Kenneth has an expiring contract with us, we see opportunities to cooperate with this. Moreover, with his appearances with Feyenoord, Nick Marsman has also been able to show himself, which means we remain two full-fledged goalkeepers “
It’s the second club for Vermeer outside the Netherlands after he spent time on loan with Club Brugge in 2018.
