According to AD, Feyenoord will know this week if Steven Berghuis will be returning to the club from Watford.

The winger joined Feyenoord on loan from Watford last summer, and played a crucial role in their Eredivisie title winning season, scoring seven times in thirty league games.

Feyenoord have been trying to bring the 25-year-old back to De Kuip since the end of the season and according to AD, they will finally have clarity from Watford this week. The newspaper is reporting that the Premier League side will decide in the next seven days whether they want to keep the Dutch international or let him leave permanently or on loan.

Berghuis joined Watford from AZ Alkmaar in 2015, but only made 11 appearances in England during his debut season. The forward is said to be hoping for the green light to move back to the Netherlands.
