guidetti cGuidetti was a huge hit with the Rotterdam side during his loan spell in the 2011-12 season, where the young Swede banged in 20 goals in 23 appearances.

However since then the 21 year has suffered from injuries, which made him miss the whole of last season, and although he is now fully fit, a place in the Manchester City first team seems far off.

With Manchester City reportedly ready to sell the youngster, Feyenoord directoe Van Geel is open to discussing a deal with the Premier League clubs executive Brian Marwood.

He told AD, The arrangement with Marwood was already planned for a long time and in the first instance it won’t be about Guidetti at all,”

“But if I will be there of course I will also speak with him about Guidetti. I have read he could leave for five million euros, but if you ask it to me, I question (whether) this is right.”

“We still have contact with John and he has a special place here and that feeling is from both sides.”

Feyenoord striker Graziano Pelle is gaining interest from a number of clubs including Chelsea, and a move for Guidetti may be needed to replace the Italian.
