Kongolo has been in terrific form alongside defensive partner Sven van Beek this season, and the pair have only conceded 16 goals in the league, which is only bested by leaders PSV Eindhoven.
The 20-year-old, who was part of Netherlands World Cup squad during the summer, has a deal in Rotterdam until 2017, but according to Voetbal International the centre back is set to be offered a new contract to commit his future to the club until 2020.
Last summer Kongolo was being followed by Stuttgart, but after his performances this season clubs such as Manchester City, Chelsea, and Southampton have all been linked with summer bids. Feyenoord are hoping a new deal will convince their young start to remain at De Kuip.
