Feyenoord are on the lookout for a new goalkeeper after Kenneth Vermeer suffered a serious injury in training, and they have set their sights on Brad Jones, who is currently a free agent after leaving NEC Nijmegen at the end of the season.
The 34-year-old is currently training with former club Liverpool and could also be handed a deal with the Premier League side, but is reportedly keen on a move to Rotterdam and personal terms are close to being agreed.
More talks will be held today between Feyenoord and Jones’s brother Greg and both parties should come to an agreement.
A good solid move. Costs us nothing to bring him in and he is good enough to hold down the fort until Hahn and then Vermeer are healthy.
