Feyenoord have confirmed the signing of goalkeeper Nick Marsman on a two-year deal.

With Joris Delle departing and Ramon Ten Hove joining Dordrecht on loan, Feyenoord wanted to bring in another goalkeeper.

Marsman was a free agent after leaving Utrecht at the end of the season and he has now joined Feyenoord on a two-year-deal.

Feyenoord head coach Jaap Stam told the club’s website, “It’s great that after the departure of two goalkeepers, the club quickly succeeded in attracting a new goalkeeper. With his experience, goalkeeping qualities and playing ability, he is a welcome reinforcement. Moreover, with the right drive, Nick is competitive with the other three goalkeepers to ensure that they can continuously bring out the best in each other. “

The 28-year-old started his career with FC Twente before joining Utrecht in 2017.
