Kazim-Richards joined the Rotterdam club on a season long loan from Bursaspor, but Feyenoord are looking to activate a clause to sign the 28-year-old permanently after the striker has netted eleven goals in 24 Eredivisie matches.
Next week the striker and Feyenoord will sit down to discuss terms of a permanent deal, and with Kazim-Richards hoping to stay in Rotterdam, the deal should be announced quickly. Feyenoord are hoping they can take Kazim-Richards, who’s contracted to Bursaspor until 2017, on a free transfer.
The signing of Kazim-Richards does not rule out a Feyenoord return for John Guidetti, but financial restrictions are making the Swede’s arrival unlikely.
This would be a great move. he is a natural winger. The last line is troubling. We need Guidetti as well. A forward of line of Kuyt, Guidetti, and CKR would be awesome! With guys like Boetuis, Vilhena, and Immers all rumored to be wanted by others, money shouldn’t be an issue. IIRC the club had money left over last summer after it paid off all of the debt. It is time for Feyenoord to grow up and become the “Dutch Giants” that everyone in the media calls them.
