Feyenoord are hoping to tie Eric Botteghin and Leroy Fer to new deals but four players are set to leave on free transfers.

Last week, it was announced that Feyenoord had terminated the contract of Botteghin before it was renewed automatically on the same terms for another year.

However, Voetbal International is reporting that the club is planning talks with the Brazilian centre-back and hope that he will stay. Leroy Fer is also expected to remain in Rotterdam for at least another season with the option in his contract to be lifted.

While Fer and Botteghin look set to stay, Feyenoord are willing to say goodbye to Jan-Arie van der Heijden, Renato Tapia, Calvin Verdonk and Elber Evora this summer when their deals all expire.

Rick Karsdorp, Edgar Ie, and Oguzhan Özyakup will all depart Feyenoord when their loans end, while the future of Steven Berghuis and Orkun Kokcu is also up for debate with several clubs interested.
