Viktor Fischer regrets his last year at Ajax and is hoping to return to the club one day.

The 25-year-old left Ajax in 2016 for Middlesbrough after 111 appearances at the club.
Speaking to Ajax Life, Fischer regrets his final year at the club, “I left with a bad feeling, but that was due to my own personality. I just had it completely at Ajax. Actually, of course, that’s crazy. Today you wonder: how could someone have had it at Ajax …?
“My relationship with Frank de Boer was no longer the same. Amin Younes was preferred. I did not see a sporty perspective. I spoke too much and did too little. I wanted to show my qualities elsewhere. Ajax also thought that was a good idea. leaving at the time was best for all parties. “
Fischer, who is now with Copenhagen, wants a return to Ajax one day, “Certainly. Hundred percent. I think it would be wonderful to play for Ajax again in the Johan Cruijff Arena.
