Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport has released a list of the 98 players they consider to be the greatest talents born in 1998 or after and five Dutchmen are involved.

Ajax winger Justin Kluivert is the highest ranked Dutchmen, taking sixth place on the list, while his teammate Matthijs de Ligt is named in eleventh place. The top three consists of Kylian Mbappé (Paris Saint-Germain), Christian Pulisic (Borussia Dortmund) and Gianluigi Donnarumma (AC Milan).
The other Dutchmen named on the list are Timothy Fosu-Mensah (Manchester United) in 39th, Teun Koopmeiners (AZ) in 96th and Leandro Fernandes (Juventus) in 97th.
Argentinian Maximiliano Romero, who recently signed for PSV is in 12th place, while Martin Odegaard (sc Heerenveen, 47th) and Max Wöber (Ajax, 88th) also feature
