Following his release from VVV-Venlo, Lee Cattermole has announced his retirement from football.

The English midfielder decided to make the switch to Dutch football last summer and left Sunderland for a year with VVV.
Despite a promising start in the Netherlands, Cattermole was restricted to only 11 Eredivisie appearances.
The 32-year-old today spoke to the media to reveal his excitement to now begin his coaching career as soon as possible.
