Phillip Cocu has lost two out of two as Vitesse Arnhem head coach as Fortuna Sittard came from behind to record a 2-1 win.

Both sides got off to a slow start but in the 32nd minute, Bartosz Bialek fired Vitesse in front with his second Eredivisie goal.

The lead did not last long as Arianit Ferati fired past Kjell Scherpen on the turn and Fortuna Sittard were level at the break.

A number of yellow cards were shown at the start of the second half while chances were few and far between. In the 80th minute, Remy Vita slotted in from close range to put Fortuna Sittard ahead.

Matus Bero almost equalised for Vitesse before the end but his effort clipped the post and went safe.

The defeat means Vitesse is 16th while Fortuna Sittard climbs up to 11th.
