Eerste divisie club Fortuna Sittard have been threatened with a points deduction by the KNVB after failing to appoint a new coach.

Previous manager Peter van Vossen resigned on October 4th and since then interim- manager Jeffrey Kooistra has taken over the reins. He also received dispensation from the KNVB.
The previous deadline set by the KNVB passed on 27th November. and they have now have until the 11th of December to appoint a new manager. If they do not meet that deadline they will be deducted 3 points.
Fortuna Sittard also received special dispensation in their search for a new manager. Technical manager Charly Chudik reacted to the news by stating ” We have done everything in our power to appoint a new manager” and he is ”Reasonably confident” of finding a new manager before the deadline with talks ongoing with potential candidates.
