mensah man uAccording to The Telegraph, Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is keen to tie the youngster down and an agreement has been made in principle on a new four-year contract. An official announcement could be made on Friday.

Fosu-Mensah joined Manchester United from Ajax in 2014 and the 18-year-old made his first team debut last season, going on to make eight Premier League appearances overall. His performances earned him his first call-up to the Dutch national team, but an injury forced him to pull out of the summer friendlies with Poland, Austria and the Republic of Ireland.

There were reports earlier this summer that Mourinho was ready to say goodbye to the Netherlands U19 captain, but those rumours now seem to have been quashed by the signing of a new contract.
