The 18-year-old is highly rated at the Premier League giants and has been regularly training with the first-team as he awaits his debut.
Speaking to MUTV, Fosu-Mensah, who is currently on loan at Crystal Palace from Manchester United, said on Chong, “He has been training with the first team a couple of times last season when I was still with United.
“Tahith is a good player with a lot of potential, he is eager to learn, that’s good.
“I was at the training complex recently and we spoke at length, we talked about Manchester, I tried to make him feel welcome, just like Marcus Rashford, Andreas Pereira, Axel Tuanzebe and Adnan Januzaj did to me. A good guy, very young, but a very good footballer. “
