de boer intDe Boer signed his three-year deal with the 18-time Serie A champions earlier on Tuesday morning before he took his first press conference in front of the media.

The former Ajax boss said on his plans with his new club, ”Two weeks preparation is far from ideal before the start of the Seria A season but we have a talented and experienced team. This squad has a lot less experience than the current Ajax squad so I expect to be able to bring over my ideas to them quickly. In the winter break we can access where we are.

”We will not try to change much, just try to bring over our ideas and we hope that the players believe in them . The most important thing is that everybody speaks the same language and wants the same things. I want to get to know everyone involved in this club not just the players. We want to do our best for the supporters.

”Inter Milan has invested a lot of youth in recent years and that fits with my style as regards to the transfer market I want the current squad to all remain at the club for the coming weeks at least and then we shall see what happens I also have not wish to poach players from Ajax.

”We want to get back in the Champions League and play attacking football and we hope to be able to achieve this because this club belongs in the Champions League.”

Inter Milan finished fourth in Serie A last season.
