Fraser stated that he feels the status of the club has changed since having won the first trophy in their 125-year history last season.
He said, ”The status of Vitesse Arnhem has changed. We now sell more shirts and the expectations are higher.
”People look at the fact we won a trophy last season and think that should happen more often and they are right to think that way. That also brings a certain pressure with it but also gives us confidence.
”Marvelous Nakamba, Ricky van Wolfswinkel and Lewis Baker were my key players last season. We have to start again but with our new players Thomas Bruns and Thulani Serero we have shown where our ambition lies which is to finish high up the league, go far in the cup and we are also playing European football this season/
”I believe that here in the Netherlands we are far too nice and laid back in terms of our attitude to European football. But I want to win.”
