Ajax boss Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Frenkie de Jong is fit to face Real Madrid on Wednesday.

The midfielder came off during the defeat to Heracles Almelo on Saturday with a groin issue.

However, in his press conference on Tuesday, Erik ten Hag confirmed that De Jong will be fit enough to face Real Madrid.

He said, “Frenkie is fit, he is looking forward to the game against Real, like everyone else.”

Dusan Tadic is also happy that the future Barcelona star is available, “He is one of the most important players for us, we hope he will be fully fit tomorrow and that he will be extra motivated against Real Madrid.”
