Frenkie de Jong has reflected on his first few months at Barcelona and revealed that the Champions League is his main aim for the season.

On the 23rd of January 2019, Barcelona confirmed the signing of Frenkie de Jong and a year, later the midfielder has reflected on his time in Spain so far.
He told the club’s TV channel, “Adapting myself to the style of Barcelona was not that difficult, because it looks like the way we approached it at Ajax.
“At Barcelona, midfielders get the chance to show themselves and that was also a reason to come here. I feel good here, but I know I can do a lot better.”
On the goals for the season, De Jong was clear, “We want to win everything we can win, but if I have to choose. I would prefer the Champions League. Of course, we would also like to win the league and cup!”
