Fresh from their win over PSV, RKC started with confidence, but it was Go Ahead Eagles who took the lead on 24 minutes as Jop van der Linden netted an excellent free kick.
RKC equalised on 64 minutes as Mitchell Schet cut inside on the left before firing a shot into the bottom corner via a touch from Aurelien Joachim.
The home side thought they had won the game in the 91st minute when Thomas Azevedo netted from close range after a corner was not cleared by RKC. However straight from the kick-off the ball was worked up the other end and Romeo Castelen fired a terrific strike straight into the top corner to earn his side a point.
The draw keeps both sides as they were in the Eredivisie table, with RKC 14th, and Go Ahead Eagles a place above them in 13th.
