Mario Gotze is pleased with how he played in his PSV debut on Sunday and has vowed to get even better.

The German scored eight minutes into his PSV debut to set his new team on their way to a comfortable 3-0 victory at PEC Zwolle.

After the game, Gotze spoke with Fox Sports, “I am very happy with the team performance, the three points and my performance today.”

Gotze thinks he will keep improving with match practise, “It feels good to be back on the field, to score again and to help the team. My physique is getting better and better. I know it will take a few games to get back to 100 percent, but it’s important for me to get back into rhythm. Give it a few weeks and I’ll be even better.”
