Mario Gotze will be leaving PSV Eindhoven this week to seal a move to German Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt.

PSV Eindhoven’s players returned to training on Monday but Mario Gotze was not present as he is in Germany to complete a move to Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Bundesliga side have triggered the €4 million release clause and according to Fabrizio Romano, the deal will be confirmed on Tuesday.

Gotze made the move to PSV Eindhoven in 2020 and has since made 77 appearances for the club, scoring 18 goals and adding 18 assists. The 30-year-old departs PSV having lifted the KNVB Cup and the Johan Cruijff Schaal.
